our classes & Rates

beginner class

The first step in your pursuit. This tier is designed for those new to the movement or returning after a break. We focus on mastering form, learning the “language” of the class, and building a safe, solid foundation.

Intermediate class

Challenge the routine. You’ve mastered the basics—now it’s time to level up. These classes introduce more complex movements, increased resistance, and faster transitions to keep your body and mind engaged.

advanced class

Master your movement. Reserved for those looking for elite-level training. Expect high-skill movements (like inversions in Yoga or complex “problems” in Bouldering) and maximum intensity. Pushing your limits is the only goal here.

The Yoga Purrsuit

Stretch! Purr! Repeat!

Yoga Pursuit: Online via Zoom

Your sanctuary, anywhere.

Can’t make it to the studio? Bring the studio to you. Yoga Pursuit live-streamed classes via Zoom offer the same expert instruction and community connection from the comfort of your own home. Whether you’re traveling, working late, or just prefer your own space, our virtual mat is always open.

How to Join a Live Class Book Your Spot: Register through our website or app just like an in-person class. Online sessions are often available at a special virtual rate.

Receive Your Link: A unique Zoom meeting link and passcode will be emailed to you 15–30 minutes before the session begins.

Set Your Space: Find a quiet spot, roll out your mat, and grab any props you have (pillows or books work great if you don’t have bolsters or blocks!).

Connect & Flow: Log in 5 minutes early to test your audio. Choose to keep your camera on for personalized form adjustments from the instructor, or turn it off for a private practice.

Why Choose Virtual? Real-Time Feedback: Unlike pre-recorded videos, our instructors watch your practice live to provide verbal cues and safety adjustments.

Interactive Community: Stay for the “post-class glow” to chat with the instructor and fellow yogis.

Zero Commute: Transition from your desk to your mat in seconds.

Privacy: Perfect for beginners who want to build confidence before joining an in-person group.

CLASS REQUIREMENTS

To ensure you have the best experience at Yoga Pursuit, we’ve outlined the essential requirements for both our in-studio and Zoom participants. Following these guidelines helps maintain the “flow” of the class and keeps everyone safe and focused.

Studio Class Requirements

1. Gear & Essentials
  • Yoga Mat: A non-slip yoga mat is required for stability and hygiene. If you don’t have one, high-quality rentals are available at the front desk for $5.
  • Water Bottle: Stay hydrated! We provide a filtered water station for refills.
  • Small Towel: Especially recommended for our high-intensity or “Flow” classes to keep your hands and mat dry.

Zoom (Online) Requirements

1. Technical Setup

  • Stable Connection: Ensure you have a reliable Wi-Fi signal.
  • Camera Placement: Position your device about 5–7 feet away at waist height. Try to frame your camera so the instructor can see your entire mat (from head to toe) to provide verbal alignment cues.
  • Lighting: Avoid sitting directly in front of a bright window, as this creates a silhouette and makes it hard for the instructor to see your form.

2. At-Home Props

Straps: A bathrobe tie or a long belt.

The Basics: You will need a yoga mat and a quiet, clutter-free space.

DIY Props: If you don’t have professional props, you can substitute:

Blocks: Thick hardcover books.

Bolsters: Sturdy bed pillows or rolled-up blankets.
